Blockchain Nigeria User Group’s annual hybrid Lagos Blockchain Conference of Value and Innovation event for 2021 is holding this weekend as announced by blockbuild.africa
This year’s conference-themed “Blockchain, Crypto-Arts and the Future of Money” will be held at the Civic Center event facility along Ozumba Mbadiwe Street, Victoria Island Lagos, from 11th to 12th September 2021 by 10:00 a.m n both days.
The special guest for the event is Dr. Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, the CEO of NITDA, while the Keynote speaker is Prof. Olayinka David-West who would be speaking along with other notable personalities at the event.

Prof. Olayinka David-West
Olayinka is the Associate Dean & Professor of Information Systems at Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University.
She has almost three decades of experience in the IT and financial services industry with experience in financial inclusion policy and digital money.
Her expertise isn’t limited to information science and strategic management alone as she is also an advocate for digital transformation financial technology and inclusion.
Her doctoral dissertation researched the use of quality as a tool for the management of electronic banking services.
She headed the e-business unit of the National Bank of Nigeria for over two years where she acted in a consultative role engaged to oversee the development of electronic initiatives.
Olayinka is a governing council member of the Fintech Association of Nigeria and a member of the African Women in Finance and Payments.
Hanu Fejiro Agbodje
He is the Founder and CEO of Patricia as a fintech company leveraging blockchain technology to ease access to alternative financial solutions that empower the processing of cryptocurrencies as means of payment for goods and services.

Dr Francis Chuka Agbu
Dr Agbu is a Senior Partner at Lexavier Partners, a law firm specializing in Dispute Resolution, Banking and Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, Corporate and Commercial Practices, Energy and Natural Resources, Tourism, Aviation, Telecommunications, Real Estate, Intellectual Property and Labour Relations.
He is registered as a Capital Market Operator by the Securities and Exchange Commission and Chairman Blockchain & Virtual Financial Assets Regulations Working Group.
Presently, he chairs the committee set up by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to advise and produce a draft of regulatory provisions relating to the emerging area of digital assets in the Nigerian Capital Markets
In nearly four decades of active practice and consultancy, he has garnered experience at the top echelon of the legal profession in Nigeria particularly in the workings and procedures of both adversarial and non-adversarial dispute resolution mechanisms.
Dr. Agbu is also a very active advocate across all the superior courts in Nigeria. He is a consultant to industry, in particular, the banking and financial services industry, on reforms in legal and transactional matters, and has presented papers at several conferences within and outside Nigeria.
